Meet Laura Muncie….

A woman with shoulder-length brown hair and blue eyes, smiling, wearing a floral blouse with red, yellow, blue, and green flowers.

From a young age I loved making art, from plasticine models to sea glass murals on my Grandparent’s garden walls.

I was born in Scotland and moved to Germany in 2012, where I still live with my husband and children in a town near Frankfurt.

My illustration training took place across several years, with online children's illustration courses and some time being mentored by a prestigious German illustrator in her art school.

‘What Love Can Do’, my first book, was published by Adelaide Books and launched at the Frankfurt Book Festival in 2021. With editions in English and Portuguese, ‘What Love Can Do’ gained recognition from the Montessori network in Portugal and has been discussed in podcasts and interviews.

More books soon followed, and I’m currently represented by Beth Snider Art Agency.

I have collaborated on a number of exciting projects with writers, publishers, and companies around the globe. I also write periodically about art and books for The Orkney News.

If you would like to find out more about my work and potential collaborations, I’d love to hear from you.
